We the People: September 17 is Constitution Day

September 17 is Constitution Day, commemorating the anniversary of the completion of the U.S. Constitution in 1787.

I’ll be going toM101x29_1017x777_FINAL_REVISED Washington to celebrate at the Communication Workers of America with the Democracy Initiative, the American Constitution Society, Free Speech For People and many more. Details here.

If you can’t join us, take a moment in your community to recognize the Constitution and all Americans–  “We the People” —  who are responsible for it. Let’s recommit to the 28th Amendment to overturn Citizens United and to the liberty, democracy and self-government that the Constitution (including its 27 Amendments so far!) is intended to serve.
